BOOKS! BOOKS! BOOKS!

Unusually kicking off with a classic children’s book Kenneth Grahame’s,  “Wind in the Willows” – inspired by Mole ‘s statement “Hang spring cleaning!”.  Enchanting, although I found the illustrations disappointing.

The second this month is a crime writer who had hitherto been unknown to me  – Victoria Walters, one of her Dedley End mystery books – “Murder at the Village Church”, a locked-room puzzle.  Easy reading for a winter’s afternoon.

Concluding with another Agatha Christie “The Pale Horse” – a standalone novel where the investigator is Mark Easterbrook; enjoyed it more on re-reading it.
